A letter from past

My dearest daughter Amanda,

Hope you and your mother will be doing good and summer would have subsided there. It’s also possible that it would be raining and you out of your habit will be taking a shower and playing in rain.

I miss you a lot especially the way you used to get angry with me and your small words, I miss everything.

I know you can’t write now but can ask your mother to sometimes write letters to me.

Ok my love

Lots of prayers and love for you and your mother and don’t forget grandpa loves you.

  1. So this letter is from Amanda’s father…which poses lots of question like where is he? Truly an old letter, interesting that it ends with and don’t forget grandpa loves you…lots to ponder here. πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Deb,
First congratulations for writing lyrics for a song. I read your post but due to busy schedule couldn’t able to left a comment. I wasn’t able to play the song. Would you be able to share lyrics with me?
This post is an inspiration from a letter from my grandfather which he wrote to my elder sister. Yes, it’s old but lots of memories πŸ™‚
