I hate being lazy and when the calendar on a wall shows that it’s already January 5th, I feel really sorry that I haven’t been in touch with you.
I believe that it’s all due to lazy December which left a dull impact on my mind. It seems a long time that I have written anything and today when I’m writing this letter my eyes are getting watery and I can feel a sore throat.
Sure, these are the symptoms of flu and I hope you won’t mind asking me but I want to see more of sun in this season. Everywhere it’s all brown and dull and while sneezing, I’m missing the warm summer.
The pale sunshine of last month left me tired. Mother didn’t allow me to go outside and I was bound to spend my time in my room. I hope you can understand but you need to ask December sun to become more active.
Mother is right in saying that every season is a gift of God but she does not understand that I’m getting tired of wearing heavy stuff. The sweater, the muffler and the gloves are making the process of breathing tough for me.
Like a bird in a sky, I like to take a stroll in my garden and for that I need your help.
My dear winter, I understand it could be tough but I want the genial rays of warm sunshine back in my room.
This is a cold winter day and while my fingers are busy in writing, my mind is strolling in that street. The cloudy sky of that evening is still fresh in my mind.
I and you, we were just two there. That was the last day of our university and while walking on that street, I had said that no matter what I would never get married and you in your calm voice had replied that sooner or later I would change my perception and here I confess that I was wrong.
I agree that marriage is the most beautiful relationship and never before I had imagined that life could be so full of colors.
Sharp and bright, soft and light this is now how I defines life and when everyone complains that December sun is getting lazy, I believe #it’sStillOkay.
Happy wedding anniversary to my beautiful wife

I hadn’t got a chance to witness the strength of human courage till the time came when I realized that man’s strength and power can make him achieve impossible tasks.
I can never forget that day of 2010. For, watching the rescue operation in Chile was a life changing moment for me.
It was a live telecast and my family was gathered around the television. The day light of early morning was making it difficult for me to conceal my tears. I hate being sensitive and that was a tissue worthy moment.
By the time the first miner appeared on a surface, the emotions were pouring out of my eyes. I can never forget that thunderous applause. Rescue workers were embracing each other. The television camera was showing a contented smile on President’s face.
The moment of family reunion was an emotional scene. The father was embracing his child and the child was crying hysterically.
I was amazed by the bravery of rescue workers. They worked day and night and that too effortlessly. How can I forget that rescue worker named Gonzalez?.He was the last man out. He stayed there till end and only came out when the last miner got rescued.
It really showed his strong commitment to his work.
The 69 days ordeal of trapped miners came to an end when the TV camera showed the sign “Misión cumplida Chile” in English (Mission Accomplished).
Thank you Chile for reminding me this great lesson of life. This great story from the pages of your history will continue to inspire me.

I’ve just finished reading an article in Reader’s digest. “Buried Alive” from the book “Deep down dark” inspires me to write this post.
